Hermit Village Walk

Low Altitude: max: height, 11346 ft. (3490m.) Region: Manali & Kullu

The attraction go the valley of God i.e. Kullu valley is half said with out mentioning Malana. Malana is considered to be one of the oldest living republics of the world, with its own system of law making, administration and judiciary. It is closed society in itself. Devta Jamlu is all supreme to preserve its "Little culture"; the trek to explore this hermit village starts from Naggar.

Day 01 : Delhi - Arrival in Delhi transfer to hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi to Kullu by air and transfer to Manali Hotel.

 

Day 03 :
Manali To Rumsu. Manali to Naggar by jeep walk starts from Naggar, one can visit Naggar castle built in 1646, pagoda shaped Tripura Sundri temple and Roerich Art Gallery. Night halt at camp 7371 ft. near Rumsu village. (4Hrs)



 
Day 04 : Rumsu To Chandra Khani. Early morning ascend through deodar and pine forest. The whole area looks wonderfully striking and colorful when flowers of different color blossom. Night halt at Chandrakhani pass, at a height of 11,346ft. (5 Hrs)



 
Day 05 : Chandra Khani - to explore the beauty of mountain ranges and peaks. From pass one can see many peaks of Kullu, Lahoul Spiti and Bara Bhangal. a steep descend to village Malana,(3652m) a closed society in itself and considered to be one of the oldest Republics of the world. Camp site below the village. (5Hrs).

 

Day 06 :
Malana To Jari: Firstly a steep descend and then walk along a stream. Jari Connected to Manikaran and Manali Highway road. Drive back to Manali. Taken time 5hrs.


 
Day 07 : Manali - Keylong : The road leads the chandra river along, across numerous hairpins curves raw seaweed Rohtang pass (3980m), which is passable only in thesummer months. The pass offers a spectacular prospect on the surrounding glaciers and Moraenen. In Gondhla you visit a small seven storey the fort was built in 1700 A.D. lock and drive (approx.115km. approx 6 hrs) then down after Keylong (3350-m) overnight hotel.

Day 08 : Keylong - Udaipur - Keylong. (59km) A beautiful migration brings you in the capital of the former kingdom to Lahoul to the Tibetan Khardong monastery (3,5km.) Founded 900 years ago, Khardong is the largest Gompa in the valley. You undertake a trip in the afternoon in the Patten valley along the Chandrabaga river after Udaipur (approx, 20 km) and visit the famous of Marikula Devi temple from 12th century and in the Trilokinath (2760m) the marble picture of the Avalokkiteshwara, which is equally admired by Hindus and Buddhists alike. In the center of the compound is a stone image of Bull-Nandi. Return back to hotel same road. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 : Keylong - Manali: (115km) After break fast travel by jeep from Keylong to Manali over Rohtang pass. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening free and explore local market. Hotel.

Day 10 : Manali - departure to Delhi by flight from Kullu or By Volvo or Sleeper, Deluxe Coach. transfer to Hotel.

Day 11 : Delhi - Day free in Delhi. Transfer to International airport.
