Kullu valley - Spiti Safaris

Day 1: Arrival at Delhi Airport. Check in Hotel.
Day 2: After Breakfast, drive to Railway Station pick-up Shatabadi ExpressAt 7.30 am to Chandigarh. Metting at Vehicle and drive to city-Lunch at Former Indian Cricket skipper / Captain, Kapil Dev’s Kaptain Retreat. Later, visit to Rock-Garden, Afterward, continue journey towards Taragarh Palace. Check in Hotel. Dinner at Hotel.
Day 3: After Breakfast, drive to Dharamsala, enroute visit to Noorbulinga Institute, Named after the summer residence of His Holiness Dalai Lama at Lhasa. It’s beautiful Buddha Temple, a Japanese inspired garden and a craft center. Later, drive to Mcleodganj (1700 mts), Check in Hotel Surya Resort. Lunch at Hotel, Later visit to Namgyal Monastery. Evening explore local / Tibetan Market. Dinner at Hotel.
Day 4: After Breakfast, Day hike to Bhagsunath, to see the fresh water springs and Ancient Temple, Later visiting Galu Temple, packed lunch at Galu Temple. Back to Hotel. Rest & Dinner at Hotel.
Day 5: After Breakfast, Rest & Explore Local / Tibetan Market. Lunch & Dinner at Hotel.
Day 6: After Breakfast, 9 hours, drive from Dharamsala to Manali (235 km). Enroute visit to Trilokinath temple and Victoria Bridge. Lunch at Mandi (Local Restaurant). Later, Continue drive to Manali, along on the side of River Beas. Check in Hotel.
Day 7: Manali Local Sightseeing Local Sight Seeing Tour of Manali. After Breakfast, Visit to Hadimba Devi Temple, Vashisht Hot sulpher springs. Manu Temple, Buddhist Monastery. Lunch at Local Restaurant, back to Hotel.
Trek Starts:
Day 8: Manali - Solang Valley - Dhundi After Breakfast drive to Solang-valley (2590 mts). It takes half an hour to reach Solang Valley, from where we start Trekking towards Dhundi (2840 mts) – 3 to 4 hrs walk. Overnight. Camp.
Day 9: Dhundi to Beaskund (3540 mts) and Back After Breakfast, we pack our lunch in our day bags, walking ahead towards our trek destination, passing through Bakarthach. Beas Kund is a source of River Beas. It is Holy place for Hindus and also a Base Camp for the Peak Climbers. At Beas Kund, you can have a look around and will notice many peaks like Hanuman Tibba (5928 mts), Friendship peak (5389 mts), Ladakhi peak (5342 mts) Lunch at Beas Kund. Afterwards, we walk back on the same trail to Dhundi. 6-8 hrs walks. Camp at Dhundi.
Day 10: Dhundi - Manali After Breakfast, Drive from Dhundi to Manali with Jeep. Check in Hotel. Dinner at Hotel.
Day 11: Manali - Chandertal Lake After Breakfast, Drive from Manali to Chandertal Lake, crossing over Rohtang La Pass, entering into the Lahoul-Spiti Valley, driving along the Chandra River, passing through Chotta-Dara & Batal (small haltstations on the way). Then taking off the road to Chandertal Lake. Pitching Camp Tent beside the Chandertal Lake, also called "Moon Lake". Dinner at Camp, beside the Moon Lake. Camp.
Day 12: Chandetal Lake - Kaza (3660 mts) After Breakfast, getting back to Main Road, further moving ahead towards, Kunzum La Pass (4551 mts) where white-washed chortens strungs with colorful prayer flags. The panoramic view from atop here is stunning with the snow ranges all around. A few kilometers over desert – like terrain, the weathered-rocks on the far banks standing sentinel, and we are at Losar, very first village of Spiti-Valley. After, Losar, passing more few villages, ultimately reaching at Kaza. Check in Hotel. (Distance covered 88 km) 5-6 hrs. Dinner at Hotel.
Day 13: Kaza After Breakfast, visit to Ki-monastery and Kibber Village (a highest village of Asia), not more than 40 km both ways. The Vehicle stops at the highest motor able village of Kibber (4205 mts) This is the starting point of the most exciting trekking & caravan route to Ladakh over Parang la Pass. Later, we return back to Ki-monastery / Gompa, millennium monastery with famous KALCHAKRA OF THE YEAR 2000. It’s only 11 km from Kibber, Visit inside the huge monastery. A famous school of Buddhist religion for hundreds of years in the Trans Himalayas. Drive back to Kaza (12 km) Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 14: Kaza - Tabo (3050 mts) After breakfast, it is 47 km away from Kaaza, enroute visit the Dhankar monastery which used to be Palace of Spitian King, the rock-cut monastery imaginary surviving on the edge of barren Dry Mountain. This is again one of the oldest gompa, the inside wall paintings are much resembling with Tabo. It is on the a Hill top, which offer a mystic view of one white color village in front of far off mountain gorge in height. Later, we drive towards Tabo. Check in Hotel. Dinner at Hotel.
Day 15: After Breakfast, Tabo, the Ajanta of Himalayas, geographically, Spiti is nothing else but a living museum. The mountains are devoid to any vegetation due to erosion by wind, Sun and Snow over thousands of years. Climb up to the village Tabo (3050 mts) built around the year 996 A.D, the Choskhor monastery at Tabo is the largest monastery in Spiti and one of the few remaining monument of the Golden period of Buddhist culture in the Himalayan region. In 1995, the Tabo has celebrated its MILLENIUM year (1000 yrs) with a KALCHAKRA ceremony. Afterwards, we check out from Hotel and Drive to Losar. Lunch at Kaza. Dinner & Check in at small Guest house. (6 hours drive).
Day 16: After Breakfast, drive to Losar to Manali – Check in Hotel.
Day 17: Free Day - Explore the Local Market – Overnight at Hotel.
Day 18: After Breakfast, Today we have long drive with A/C Toyota to Delhi (570 km) takes 12 hours. Check in Delhi.
Day 19: Explore the Delhi City and Fly back to Home by Mid-night.
