Day 1: Manali to Chandertal Lake Drive from Manali to Chandertal Lake, crossing over Rohtang La Pass, entering into the Lahoul-Spiti Valley, driving along the Chandra River, and passing through Chotta-Dara & Batal (small halt stations on the way). Then taking off the road to Chandertal Lake. Pitching Camp Tent beside the Chandertal Lake, also called “Moon Lake”. Dinner at Camp, beside the Moon Lake. Camp.
Day 2: Chandetal Lake to Kaza (3660 mts) After Breakfast, getting back to Main Road, further moving ahead towards, Kunzum La Pass (4551 mts) where white-washed chortens strungs with colorful prayer flags. The panoramic view from atop here is stunning with the snow ranges all around.A few kilometers over desert – like terrain, the weathered-rocks on the far banks standing sentinel, and we are at Losar, very first village of Spiti-Valley. After, Losar, passing more few villages, ultimately reaching at Kaza. Check in Hotel. (Distance covered 88 km) 5-6 hrs --- Dinner at Hotel.
Day 3: KAZA After Breakfast, visit to Ki-monastery and Kibber Village (a highest village of Asia), not more than 40 km both ways. The Vehicle stops at the highest motor able village of Kibber (4205 mts) This is the starting point of the most exciting trekking & caravan route to Ladakh over Parang -la Pass. Later, we return back to Kaza , attend the Puja ceremony of Buddhist New Shakya monastery .Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 4: Kaza to Tabo (3050 mts) After breakfast, it is 47 km away from Kaza, enroute visit the Dhankar monastery (8 km) which used to be Palace of Spitian King, the rock-cut monastery imaginary surviving on the edge of barren Dry Mountain. This is again one of the oldest gompa, the inside wall paintings are much resembling with Tabo. It is on the a Hill top, which offer a mystic view of one white color village in front of far off mountain gorge in height. Later, we drive towards Tabo. Check in Hotel. Dinner at Hotel.
Day 5: Tabo to Kaza After Breakfast, Tabo, the Ajanta of Himalayas, geographically, Spiti is nothing else but a living museum. The mountains are devoid to any vegetation due to erosion by wind, Sun and Snow over thousands of years. Climb up to the village Tabo (3050 mts) built around the year 996 A.D, the Choskhor monastery at Tabo is the largest monastery in Spiti and one of the few remaining monument of the Golden period of Buddhist culture in the Himalayan region. In 1995, the Tabo has celebrated its MILLENIUM year (1000 yrs) with a KALCHAKRA ceremony. Afterwards, we check out from Hotel and drive towards to Kaza, Evening the explore local market. Day 6: Kaza to Manali After Breakfast, drive to Manali – Check in Hotel 200kms 7-8 hrs
Day 7: Manali to Delhi After breakfast explore local market your own .12 noon check out hotel .After that proceed to onward journey to Delhi by Volvo bus carry with sweet moment of sightseeing tour.
